Happy Halloween

I hope you had a great day and weekend. I was able to do a few things around my shop this weekend. I was so glad that my sister in law and her family were in town. It gave me the opportunity to take some pictures of my 10 year old niece Chloe wearing my crocheted sunburst caplet and update my listing. The adult sized caplet also happens to work perfectly as a shawl for kids around her age.

This picture is my favorite, but there are several more to see.

It's a shame that they live four hours away. I don't make many kid sized items because I rarely have someone that age available to model for me. This was definitely a bonus to spending time with them this weekend,

Home Again

Back home from a long weekend in exciting Las Vegas, NV.  Thursday night after we flew in my husband and I cruised around our spectacular hotel the Venetian. Friday we walked up and down most of the Vegas strip wandering in and out of other beautiful hotels admiring all the bright lights and gardens. Back at the Venetian we ate dinner at a restaurant owned by Wolfgang Puck. Saturday was the big day and the reason we went out there... Dan & Heather's wedding! I didn't know what to expect when they decided to have a quick-ish destination wedding in Vegas, but it was a really classy and well done ceremony. No Elvis impersonators here. Afterwords, all of us went for pictures in front of the fountains at the Bellagio and had late dinner reservations at a fancy French restaurant. Sadly we had to come home last night, but I received a friendly pat down from a female TSA agent because my hair was still done up and the bobby-pins were setting off the metal detector. Glad to be home in my own time zone except that I had to get back to work at the hospital today. But I can also get back to crafting and creating.

Vacation Mode

I will be heading out of town this afternoon for a wedding. I can check my shop from my phone and will be checking on it regularly, but I will be unable to ship any sold items until my return on Monday Oct 25th. Thank you for your patience with this tiny delay and I will see you all when I get back.

More Male Babies?

I've come across some fairly unusual data when comparing the number of views my Baby Shoes receive. The Blue Cotton Baby Booties (6-12 Months) have twice as many views as the pink variety. Not so strange maybe, except that the pink baby shoes were listed a month before the blue giving them ample time to accumulate views before the blue ones were in existence. This is leading me to wonder if women are having more male babies of if I'm having some sort of statistical anomaly from lopsided advertisement.


Does someone out there have any other theories?
